graphite does leave a mark behind.

not the safest way to get a tattoo, but once upon a grade three recess one of the other kids in my class tripped and stabbed me in the arm. its about 1 cm long and white in the middle with grey dots at either end. The graphite bit was stuck in there till I got home and my mom fished it out with tweezers. its very faint now, mumble years later. When my ink wanting friends planned their first tattoos i used to say airily “oh i’ve got mine already, but its a long boring story.”
